Two of my favorite things are summer time and fantasy books. Summer as a kid was a time for adventure, magic, and feeling alive. It was the time of year that I had the most time to devote to reading the books that I truly wanted to read instead of those that were assigned. My mom would take us down to the library and let us get as many books as our little hearts desired. Completing reading challenge after reading challenge, almost every book I choose was of the fantasy genre. And to this day, I read a ton of fantasy novels during the summer season. This season is great for fantasy reads, and the perfect time to add a few to your bookshelf.
