What to expect from Bridgerton Season 4
As reported, Australian actress Yerin Ha (of Halo fame) will be stepping into the role of Sophie Baek, a mysterious woman who Benedict meets at his mother’s annual masquerade ball. After their chance encounter, Benedict is mesmerized by the “Lady in Silver”, who makes the most carefree of the Bridgerton children and wants to settle down for the first time in his life.
Joining Ha as new characters are Katie Leung (best known from the Harry Potter franchise) as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei as Posy Li. There haven’t been many details revealed as of yet, but some new characters are sure to shake up the start of a new London season.
In the novel An Offer From A Gentleman, Sophie’s story largely mirrors that of Cinderella, so expect some potential not-so-nice stepmother and stepsister action.
Hopes for the new season
Bridgerton has not disappointed with its previous casting choices, and there’s no doubt in this readers’ mind that Yerin Ha and Luke Thompson’s chemistry will be off the charts.
