If you are a science fiction fan, you’ve no doubt read (or at least seen) The Martian by Andy Weir. Well, you might be aware that his 2021 novel Project Hail Mary is being adapted into a movie!
Project Hail Mary is an amazing sci-fi novel that I personally devoured in only a few days. It is the story of Ryland Grace, a middle school science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship with no memory of how he got there. As his memory gradually returns, he realizes he’s on a critical mission to save humanity from an extinction-level threat.
On top of the great story, Ryan Gosling is set to play the main character, and Drew Goddard is set to write the script. He’s written before for The Martian adaptation, which was also amazing.
