In a time when reality sometimes feels stranger than fiction, dystopian novels continue to captivate us with their chilling visions of possible futures. These stories not only entertain but often provide thought-provoking commentary on our current society.
What’s the most gripping new dystopian fiction book you’ve read recently?
From the more recent ones, I personally really loved the following new dystopian fiction books: Toward Eternity by Anton Hur, Glass Houses by Madeline Ashby, and Zombie Apocalypse Running Club by Carrie Mac (even though it has a lower GoodReads rating… I liked it!)
I’m eager to hear about fresh takes on dystopian themes. Maybe it’s a novel that explores the consequences of advanced AI, the aftermath of climate disasters, or a society divided by new technological advances.
Perhaps it’s a story that blends dystopian elements with another genre, offering a unique twist on familiar tropes. Share your top pick for recent dystopian fiction in the comments!
Hope to get some good picks to add to my book list for the rest of the year!
