It Ends With Us, Colleen Hoover’s book adaptation has been recently released on the big screen! It is a bit of a controversial adaptation as, at times, it romanticizes domestic and relationship abuse. However, the reviews of the movie are currently mixed, but slightly favoring the positive side of things.
From the early reviews, and from our own viewing and discussion about the book adaptation, most people seem to be liking the much better movie script than the book itself. Colleen Hoover has written a lot of romance novels and It Ends With Us book is not one of the best ones, at least according to our editors, even if it currently sits at a 4.12 Good Reads rating.
From our perspective, the movie was much better and portrayed the nuances of relationship abuse a lot better than the book did, among other aspects.
