It’s a brand new month, which means a brand new theme for us! This May, we’re taking a look at a different sort of classic: American Literature. Whether we’re talking about the earliest works of the niche or the modern bestsellers, it’s impossible to ignore the level of notoriety that American lit holds to this day. Some of the greatest stories ever written have come out of the country, and their fantastic selection of tales doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
What Are The Best American Literature Stories?
This is impossible to answer; American literature is full of laughter, tears, and it’s been known to pump out some great romance along the way. There’s an instant classic to be found in every genre, and American writers continue to make their mark on history as time progresses.
We love the vast array of books that American lit offers readers: fantasy, coming of age, social commentary and the like. This month, we’ll be touching on all aspects of this subgenre, the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all. If you’re looking for our commentary on American literature classics and all of the new fare it has to offer, stay tuned. As a companion piece, we’re also diving into the American lit pool on the podcast. Themes, characters, adaptations. You name it, we’re talking about it. Happy May to all, and as always, Happy Reading!
