Who hasn’t read classic books at one time or another? Whether you were forced to read the high school staples, or picked them up out of curiosity-and often all sorts of hype-you’ve read at least a few in your lifetime so far. With so much to choose from and so many options out there, classic books give us so much to explore. And that’s exactly what we’re doing this month.
Something about the classics and the springtime fit together so well; new beginnings and back to basics, I suppose. We’re taking this time to appreciate the classics we love, and hopefully discover a few new favourites along the way.
What is a Classic Book?

Ah, the age-old question. What truly makes a book a “classic”? Are we able to answer that question? Nope-sorry about that. Classics are in the eye of the beholder, and we’re always fascinated to find out what people feel falls into the classic book category, and how opinions vary from one person to another.
That in and of itself is part of what makes literature so wonderful; the ability to choose your preferences and categorize your own reads to your preference.
Classic Books Month At Fully Booked

This month we’re tackling the classics we know and love, along with new discoveries for ourselves and readers searching for their next great read. Whether it’s a period drama or a dystopian science fiction epic, the overarching genre of classic books have something to offer anyone looking to pick up a new story.
We hope you’ll follow all of our coverage of classics this April, and stay tuned: we may have an additional surprise that we’ve been working on later this month. To the classic books out there, and all that they have to offer.
