Unbelievable True Stories: 10 Memoirs That Redefine the Human Spirit

September 7, 2024

It’s Nonfiction November, bookworms! This month, we’re delving into the world of true stories, wild memoirs, and everything in between. Nonfiction can sometimes be considered a boring genre, but the world is filled with all sorts of fascinating tales just waiting to be put onto paper, don’t you think? All throughout the month of November, we’ll be chatting about an underappreciated genre, one which has given us far more film adaptations that we’re aware of.

Nonfiction tends to get a boring rep, but is it unwarranted? This genre covers a broader scope than it’s given credit for. This week, we’re going head to head: fiction vs nonfiction, and what each of them mean to us. What do we love about nonfiction? What don’t we love? And why does fiction get all of the love? Join us for a discussion about nonfiction and all it offers!

Enjoying Nonfiction month? Be sure to check out all of our coverage of the genre over at https://fully-booked.ca/. We’re a listener supported podcast! Please consider pledging and helping Fully Booked to grow our library over at https://ko-fi.com/fullybooked, or by leaving us a 5 star rating and review wherever you’re listening. Thanks bookworms, and don’t forget to keep on reading.
