It’s time for soc-hops, soc’s and Patrick Swayze. This week, we’re taking a look at 1983’s adaptation of S.E Hintons The Outsiders. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, this tale of the trials and tribulations of young people in the 1960s features quite the star studded cast-though at the time of release many of them weren’t well known at all.
Get ready for greased back hair, leather jackets and Tom Cruise chewing tobacco. It may not be a highlight of the film but it’s one in our hearts.
