It’s Fantasy month, y’all, and we’re so excited! Throughout the month of June we’ll be talking about everything that the genre has to offer. To kick things off, we’re chatting about an adaptation of one of the most beloved properties out there: Alice in Wonderland. Specifically, the Tim Burton adaptation from 2010 starring Mia Wasikowska as the titular character, along with plenty of Tim Burton regulars, in case you’d forgotten who the director was.
But what do we think of this not quite decidedly darker spin on the whimsical children’s tale? You’ll have to listen and find out. We’re talking about spiral patterns, a stacked voice cast, and split personalities for some reason. It’ll make sense later, promise.
