With the release of the In Ends With Us book adaptation, I’ve fallen even more in love with Colleen Hoover books! I am trying to read her whole bibliography and want to read them in order.

I was wondering if this is the correct order to read Colleen Hoover books? I think I got it right, but if there is something that I missed, please let me know!

Slammed Series: This series follows the complicated relationship between Layken and Will. It explores themes of young love, family struggles, and overcoming personal hardships. The story begins when 18-year-old Layken moves to a new town and falls for her neighbor, only to discover he’s her teacher.

  • Slammed (2012)
  • Point of Retreat (2012)
  • This Girl (2013)

Hopeless Series: Centered on Sky and Dean, this series delves into dark pasts, healing, and the power of love. It tackles heavy themes like abuse and trauma, but also focuses on hope and redemption. The series expands to include interconnected stories of other characters in their universe.

  • Hopeless (2012)
  • Losing Hope (2013)
  • Finding Cinderella (2013) – A novella in the same universe
  • All Your Perfects (2018) – Connected to the Hopeless universe

Maybe Series: This series starts with the story of Sydney and Ridge, exploring themes of music, loyalty, and forbidden love. It involves complex relationships, ethical dilemmas, and the healing power of music. The series continues with related characters and their interconnected stories.

  • Maybe Someday (2014)
  • Maybe Not (2014) – A novella
  • Maybe Now (2018)

Never Never Series: Co-written with Tarryn Fisher, this mystery/romance series follows Charlie and Silas, who wake up one day with no memories of each other or their shared past, despite being in a relationship. They must uncover the truth about their memory loss and their connection.

  • Never Never: Part One (2015)
  • Never Never: Part Two (2015)
  • Never Never: Part Three (2016)

It Ends with Us Series: This powerful series begins with Lily’s story, addressing themes of domestic abuse, the cycle of violence, and the strength it takes to break that cycle. The sequel explores the aftermath of Lily’s decisions and her journey towards healing and new love.

  • It Ends with Us (2016)
  • It Starts with Us (2022)

Also from what I understand there are a bunch of standalone books that I found, that are not part of any series as far as I know.

  • Ugly Love (2014)
  • Confess (2015)
  • November 9 (2015)
  • Too Late (2016)
  • Without Merit (2017)
  • Verity (2018)
  • Regretting You (2019)
  • Heart Bones (2020)
  • Layla (2020)
  • Reminders of Him (2022)

Hope I got it right!
